Self and Shadow (2025) is an analogue photography work with five gelatine silver prints on Ilford Multigrade RC paper, 8*10 inches each. The work presents the idea of “Wherever the sun shines, there is shadow," capturing the objects and their shadows on the street to see how the light and the darkness are connected and find the relationship and beauty between them, bringing out the concept that every light has darkness to balance it out. Instead of hating the dark side, why don’t we try to accept it?
