With the black and white mixture of thick acrylic and plaster covering the bright red background, showing the inner struggle of trying to escape from death. Putting plasters and painting with hands, recording the chaos of the hands and fingers’ gesture of grabbing, showcased the thought of trying to cover the red of the background. However, the visibility of the red keeps reminding the audience of the irresistible reality that all men are mortal, causing them to feel the pain of helplessness when facing death.
